Through the Brighton Girls Parent, Teacher & Friends Association we aim to advance students’ education by developing relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school. And by engaging in activities, or providing facilities or equipment, to support the school.
Examples of activities and facilities that have been funded either in full or in part by the PTFA include the grand piano refurbishment, improvements to the sound and lighting systems in the main hall, an outdoor willow classroom, iPads for use in school, arts and crafts supplies, design and technology equipment, coding specialist equipment and a racing car!
The PTFA organises a number of fundraising and social events during the year; coffee mornings and nearly new uniform sales, Quiz Night, bakes and cakes sales, bars at the various shows at school and of course the all school Christmas Fair and Summer Garden Party.
If you’d like to know more, have a fundraising idea or wish to help the PTFA in any way please contact co-Chairs Lauren Setters and Suzanne Ryan – our contact details are on Firefly!
